Our Vision

At Suchitra Cancer Care Initiative, we vision that every person has an easy and affordable access to avail treatment. We are driven by our personal experiences of dealing as well as diagnosing cancer. We are committed to provide assistance to not only cancer patients but also to caregivers.

Our Story

A group of friends who have dealt with cancer in different forms in their life, got together with a dream of providing assistance to patients with cancer and their caregivers. The healthcare system in Bihar is in a lackluster condition. We are trying to make cancer diagnosis and treatment possible for every section of the society.

Our Objectives

  • Provide support to cancer patients and caregivers
  • Set up tele medicine facilities for cancer patients
  • Mass vaccination to prevent Cervix cancer
  • Cancer awareness campaigns in Schools and colleges
  • Breast cancer awareness campaigns among women
  • Awareness and prevention of Lymphoma and other blood cancers
  • Set up clinics to offer easy treatment of cancer patients
  • Support and partner with other charitable and government organizations to combat cancer
  • Offer counselling to cancer patients and their caregivers.

Dr. Nandini Thakur Jha

Co – Founder & Board Member

Dr Nandini  is a renowned and experienced clinical radiologist. With immense knowledge in radiodiagnosis, Dr Nandini Thakur Jha is presently working in the Niramaya Care Hospital serving many patients and curing their lives in her own way.

Gautam Gauri

Co – Founder & Board Member

Gautam is a social worker currently based in Patna, Bihar. He has an immense experience in social sector. He is also a Co-Founder and Executive Director of Diksha Foundation, a NGO that works to provide holistic education to children in Bihar.

Dr. Amit Kumar

Co – Founder & Board Member

Dr Amit is currently Specialist Senior Registrar, Medical Oncology at Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai. He was a former Senior Resident at AIIMS, New Delhi. With his experience Dr Amit wants to make cancer treatment possible for everyone.
