Nonprofit cancer awareness and navigation support
A calmer way to find your next step
Cancer doesn't arrive politely. SCCF helps patients and caregivers access reliable, oncologist-led information and clear next-step guidance — so your next conversation with a doctor is more informed and less frightening.
We work to reduce fear, confusion, and misinformation by offering calm, trustworthy information and conversations with experienced oncologists, with a special focus on underserved and semi-urban communities in Eastern India.

Common Myths About Cancer
"If there is no pain, it cannot be cancer."
Many cancers cause no pain early on. Don't wait for symptoms to seek advice.
"Chewing tobacco is safer than smoking."
All tobacco use increases cancer risk. There is no safe form.
"Screening is only for sick people."
Screening finds problems early, when treatment works best.
